The Glock Fix it Sticks are perfect for mounting Optics on Handguns. Practical, easy to use and far more Torque than those tiny Holosun Adjustment Tool which are more stripping Torque Screws. The Fix it Sticks are about all I need for Handgun Optic mounting, especially on the go. The Ratchet T Handle has a great amount of Torque for dealing with a tight, frozen Torque Screw that simply will not budge because of Blue Thread Locker. The Glock set is easy to carry in a Range Bag. You can take this set on the go and work in the field. Looking forward to getting a set suitable for Rifles down the road.
I bought the Glock maintenance kit. I've used it so much. Everything is in one little package. I've removed a magazine base plates, changed sights, completely taken out all the internals of my pistol etc. Highly recommended especially if you shoot competitively and need a nice, compact maintenance kit.
I love the compact size of the pouch very well made and has all the necessities needed to take care of your Glock and then some. It gets packed in my range bag all the time. I highly recommend the Glock package. Kudos.
I love this kit! I’m extremely happy with this kit. Buy once-cry once is definitely true when it comes to this purchase. I don’t see myself having to carry around my old on the go toolkit that I pieced together myself. This kit is very compact, about the size of a Glock 17 magazine with an oem plus 2 extension base plate. I honestly can’t think of anything else(tool wise) I need to add to it for my particular needs. There was just enough room for me to add a spare battery for my optic, a small tube of blue thread locker and a tiny tube of red removable thread locker. The only other thing I’ll be adding is a bore brush and a few cleaning patches along with a tiny tube of gun lubricant.
Because of Glock's reliability, full tool kits are generally superfluous on the range, but the popularity of optics and lights, has changed that dynamic. I wasn't expecting much from this kit since most of the tool kits for Glock pistols I have seen in the past are cheap and not well thought out. I was surprised by the quality of this kit. With the addition of a bore brush, a piece of emery paper, and a spare piece of front sight fiber optic, this kit solves just about every range problem in a very compact package. I'm impressed.
Useful kit. Gave it 4 stars for two reasons. The case is very tight. My red dot optic came with two small tools for adjustments and I added them to the pouch. I also bought and added the broader range fix it stix torque adapter (the red one). I honestly think the included torque adapter has a narrow range. Maybe 99% of the time that’s all you need for a Glock but I felt limited with just the blue adapter so bought the red. I think the pouch should be a bit bigger and the red torque adapter should be thrown in. I’d pay $20-30 more for the kit if that value was added.
I bought a Glock field kit for my son who is an Infantry Marine Officer and has an assortment of Glocks. It is a really cool, useful, and handy kit for him. Maybe he will return the favor to the old man?
Only been able to use it a few times so far but it works amazing it’s small so it’s easily stored and travels light. Really looking forward to using it again and again. Overall I just better knowing I have it with me. 👍🏻👍🏻
This is a great product if you own a Glock. I mainly bought it to mount a RMR HD, but there are other things (like the sight tool) that comes in very handy. 110% recommend.
The anodized bit and the ratcheting T-handle had scratches and marks indicative of prior use. I didnt detect any function issues with the T-handle, it’s just kind of disappointing to pay for and receive something that should be brand new, but bears some marks of prior use as if it was a return. If it’s not a return, the QC needs to be a little more heads up.
Absolutely love my glock kit! I find a new way to use it everyday and not just on my glocks. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because my front sight tool broke on the first use. They did replace it free of charge promptly though so great Cs as well!
Small, compact that takes up next to no real estate in my range bag/go bag and covers all the attachment retention points on my handguns and rifles.
I was hesitant about the price but has been worth every penny.
Not at all military or first responder friendly. While I love their product I would check other retailers instead of ordering through the main website. I contacted customer service and asked if a military or first responder discount could be provided. I received a code for 10% percent. Essentially the same percent off as joining the newsletter, writing a review, or using a YouTube reviewer discount link. I responded mentioning these points and the response I received back was, “Sounds good John. Thanks for letting us know.” I will also leave a similar review on the GovX website as a few of there products are listed. Awful experience. Need to do better. It would have been much better to say we don’t offer a first responder or military discount but here is 10% off and thank you for your service. ID.me is a service that could be easily added to the website if they actually cared. Pathetic.
Just got my Field Toolkit for Glock and I love it. Sadly one of the bits was damaged when i recieved it. I emailed them and within 20 minutes they replied and already sent me a replacement for free. Customer support and amazing quality tools is why I give it 5 stars.
Great kit. Almost everything you need for more than just Glocks. Side note- does not have the Glock logo embroidered on the case, that is for the kit purchased through Glock website only unfortunately.
I teach Firearms professionally in a Police Academy where every Police Trainee is carrying a RDS Equipped pistol and occasionally we will see a mounting problem which can slow down training. The Fixit Glock kit has everything I need to handle any armorer problem I encounter right there on the range. Its an essential part of any professional firearms instructors kit.
The overall kit looks great —is totally functional and easy to stash away.
Once I put some use on it, I’ll really be able to tell as far as longevity, but by the looks of it and feel – I’m good to go for quite a while.
